Data controller
Weber Water, company number BE 1029.096.556, is the controller for the data collected through this site. Contact: contact@weber-water.be.
Data collected
We collect only the data you send us voluntarily through the contact form: name, email address, phone number, postcode, the nature of your request and the content of your message.
No data is collected without your knowledge. This site uses no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers — which is why you are not shown a consent banner.
When you reach the site through one of our ads or posts (Facebook, Instagram…), that origin is attached to your quote request or order, so we know which ads are useful. It is not stored in a cookie or in your browser, and nothing is passed on to those networks.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data is used solely to handle your request, prepare a quote and get back to you. The legal basis is your consent and the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Your data is never sold, rented or passed on for commercial purposes.
Recipients and processors
Emails generated by the form pass through Resend, an email delivery provider, and are hosted on OVH servers. These providers do not use your data on their own account.
If you fill in a contact form built into one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, the data you enter (name, contact details, answers to the questions) is passed to us by Meta Platforms Ireland and processed for the same purposes and under the same conditions as the site form. Meta’s processing of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Retention period
Requests that do not lead to a commercial relationship are kept for a maximum of three years. Data linked to a quote or a job is kept for as long as Belgian accounting and legal obligations require.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Simply write to contact@weber-water.be.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
